Our Story
Pakistan's used car market has long been one of the country's most opaque industries. A first-time buyer in Lahore could pay PKR 500,000 more than a savvy negotiator in Karachi for the same vehicle. Odometer rollbacks, undisclosed flood damage, and paper-only ownership transfers left millions of Pakistanis vulnerable to fraud with almost no recourse.
Cars of Pakistan was founded in 2023 by a team of automotive journalists, fintech professionals, and former members of Pakistan's leading auto platforms who had spent years watching buyers get cheated on preventable mistakes. Before writing a single line of code, we spent six months interviewing buyers across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Peshawar. What we heard shaped every feature we built, from our listing verification process to our free token tax calculator, loan EMI tool, and car price estimator.
Our editorial team has collectively test-driven over 400 vehicles and reported on every major car launch in Pakistan since 2016. We publish daily price updates, expert buying guides, and honest car reviews, all authored by named journalists with real credentials, verified experience, and no financial conflicts of interest.
